The 5th Annual Haunted Sawmill returns this October with a new theme – “Vincent’s Nightmare.”
Vincent Mudgett has become a cult legend in the Northwoods as the popularity of the Haunted Sawmill has grown. When Vincent is not prowling the corridors and dark subterranean passages of his sawmill he can be found taunting scare-enthusiasts and daring them to enter his terrifying realm.
The Haunted Sawmill will be offering special theme nights:
October 24th there will be a complete “lights out”. Are you afraid of the dark? Guests will have to make their way through the Sawmill and face Vincent in complete blackness.
Sunday, October 25th the Sawmill gang will be presenting a milder family and kid friendly version of the show.
Friday, October 30th, there will be an amped up night of terror. Not recommended for children.
The Haunted Sawmill will also be offering a “speed pass” this year where guests can pay more for the privilege of a faster line into the Haunted Sawmill. Vincent and his crew have things planned for even the guests that are waiting outside in line including visits by more monsters, a stage where the actors will come out and perform to the crowd, and videos of Vincent’s and the Sawmill’s history.

Saturday, October 10th, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Come dressed in your best Zombie costume. COURSE: Starts at the Lincoln County Court House Lawn and proceeds down Main Street to Mill Street to 4th Street and ends at the Haunted Sawmill at 711 Hendricks St. Participants can choose to register for the walk with T-shirt or without. All proceeds raised will go to help support the Merrill Free Clinic. The fun continues as walk ends at the Haunted Sawmill where there will be entertainment, concessions and a costume contest. All participants will receive a discounted admission ticket for the Haunted Sawmill and will get to hang out with Vincent. Entry fees payable to: The Haunted Sawmill).
