What we do...
Since 2000, Haunted Wisconsin has been providing comprehensive and up-to-date event listings on a variety of Halloween events throughout the state including haunted houses, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and trick-or-treat dates & times. We clear out our listings every year in order to bring you only the most current event information.
During the Halloween season, our Review Crew travels to participating haunted attractions in Wisconsin to report on their experiences so you have a better idea of what to look forward to. In addition we let you, the visitors review the events you've attended and vote for your favorite local haunted attractions!
Why we do it...
We LOVE Halloween and Wisconsin! We want to help everyone enjoy this spooktacular holiday which is why we work hard to spread the word about all of the various types of Halloween events that take place throughout the state, not only on our website but through our newsletters and social media. We even have a Halloween Store Directory so you know where to find spooky home decor and costumes.
How we got started...
The idea for HauntedWisconsin.com began in 1998 after Andy & Jenny were looking for haunted houses to attend. At the time there were only a handful of websites that listed haunted attraction information. These sites didn't focus on individual states and provided little information, most of which was out-of-date and didn't provide any contact information for the events.
After two years of pondering the idea and still not finding a Wisconsin only Halloween website, the couple decided to create HauntedWisconsin.com (and were married a year later!). We're proud to say we've lived in Wisconsin our entire lives, are Packer fans and currently live in the greater Milwaukee metropolitan area.

Dan Strelecki
Dan joined us in 2006 and helps out by distributing promotional materials, spreading the word about HauntedWisconsin.com and posting on our social media pages about various Halloween topics, including his favorite horror movies. We're happy to say that Dan will have a bit more free time again to do interviews and help out with other projects.
